Should have it back up soon. I know the whole Internet is waiting. Just be patient, Internet...damn!

Arrivals and Departures

Wednesday, February 15, 2006
Any time one cultivates a relationship, whether business, pleasure, or a little of both, one faces the possibility of having to say goodbye. And so it is with Debauchery. As we look forward to this year and many new projects, it has come time to say goodbye to a few of our beloved brethren.

Our good friends in Follow The Train are moving on to bigger and better things, signing with Darla records out of San Francisco. Their new album, A Breath Of Sigh, is set for release on March 20.

We are also saying farewell to the beloved Pine Club and Reading, both of whom are, sadly, calling it quits. They are holding a farewell show at The Rudyard Kipling on Friday, February 24. Admission includes a copy of Pine Club's final CD(while supplies last), hot off the press.

Our best wishes to all of those departing.

On a happier note, all of us here at Debauchery would like to extend a very warm welcome to the newest addition to the ranks: The Slow Break. If you've never seen them, you're missing out. If you have, you know why we're so excited to have them join. You can catch them at one of their next shows: Feb. 17 @ The Northside Tavern(Cincinnati); Feb. 25 @ The Old Louisville Coffee House; Welcome aboard!!!!!

Debauchery Records came to be a Louisville KY based cooperative label in early 2004. The concept of 100% in, 100% out is motivation for these Louisville bands to bond together and help carry the load of being Independent artists in a saturated music market. It helps that there happens to be an immense amount of talent in this city and the support for the Debauchery movement is rapidly growing.

We are a balance of varied sounds, bonded by common experience and independent philosophy. The different elements that make up Debauchery, whatever they may be, maintain their individual identities yet become something more than their seperateness. The sound of Debauchery records as each band evolves is continually changing, but if you want to call it indie rock I can't stop you. Louisville, Kentucky has a rich music history that speaks for itself and we are doing our part to represent a new era of Louisville Music.
