Adventure

This band emerged in May of 2004. Having assembled 4 unlikely members, Adventure took form with dirty rock and roll on their mind, penning such classics as "Scared of Sex", “Sweetheartin’” and "Kimberly". Jordan Forst, Jake Huestis, Ryan Ridge and Joe Welsh make up this cartilage band, and they have all taken arms against steroid use in the Louisville local music scene. “It’s a real problem, and we’ll do whatever it takes to get it ‘under control’,” states Welsh, guitarist and vocalist for the band. Huestis, drummer for Adventure, complains, “It’s not right to put this much effort into music while others around you are juicing up! Testing is the only answer.” Adventure has now joined Debauchery Records and expects to have an album by summer of 2005. Production begins in late January. Brad White of the Pine Club was quoted as saying, “…there’s a lot of Telecaster in that band …” Adventure’s sound and show is unlike any other, except maybe an acceptance speech by Anna Nicole Smith.
